Nestled along the banks of the seasonal Luwi River, a permanent river lagoon attracts a daily parade of wildlife that guests can watch from their room's private deck. Rooms sit on raised wooden platforms and embody a cosy ambiance. The Luwi River is renowned for its lion and wild dog population.

 

Chongwe Camp is surrounded by wild beauty, set at the confluence of the Chongwe and Zambezi Rivers against a beautiful mountainous backdrop, the camp offers the best views in the Lower Zambezi.

Each tent offers panoramic views along the Chongwe River. Sit out front in comfortable lounge chairs and watch the abundant wildlife visiting the banks to drink and graze on the lush grasses. The tents feature comfortable beds, ceiling fans, charging points and spacious, open air bathrooms. Cotton linens, local textiles and handcrafted furniture blend seamlessly with organic fixtures.

By land, you can enjoy game drives and walking safaris, or take to the rivers and explore with boat cruises, canoeing safaris and tiger-fishing.
