ZIMBABWE'S RICH DRY SEASON - Comfort

7 Night 8 Day Custom Safari from Victoria Falls back to Victoria Falls
Zimbabwe's dry season is a major drawcard for many travelers, just as the waterholes and rivers are to the wildlife in the various parks. Visit Hwange and Mana Pools National parks to witness fantastic game at the waterholes and water's edge, on game drive, or simply sitting in the lodge or hide.

Day 1 - 4 - Little Makalolo, Hwange National Park

Little Makalolo lies in the heart of Hwange National Park, in one of its best game viewing areas, overlooking a vibrant waterhole. It offers privacy for guests who enjoy small camps and a sense of remoteness. The camp's six traditional-style tents - including a family unit - are spacious and en-suite, with indoor and outdoor showers. Linking the tents to the main area are teak walkways. Here a false mopane tree in the centre of the camp shades a separate dining and living area, with an open fire area for those convivial evening fireside tales. There is a log-pile hide overlooking the waterhole in front of camp where guests can enjoy wildlife viewing during the siesta hours and pool for cooling down in the midday sun.

Day 5 - 7 -  Ruckomechi Camp, Mana Pools National Park

Situated in the heart of the Zambezi Valley's Mana Pools National Park, Ruckomechi Camp looks out from the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. It is a remote, beautiful place with spectacular views of the broad flowing river, adjoining well-defined tree canopy and the mountains of the Rift Valley escarpment over the border in Zambia. Shaded by a large grove of acacia and mahogany trees, the camp accommodates guests in ten spacious en-suite tents, including a honeymoon suite, all of which overlook the rushing river below. Each beautifully decorated and spacious tent is en-suite with both indoor and outdoor showers. The central dining, bar, library and lounge areas face the escarpment, and there is a separate deck with an infinity pool for swimming and sunbathing, and an inviting, cushion-strewn star gazing deck. Our environmental impact is lowered by low-level walkways and solar power for the whole camp.
